AfriTaxCalc provides estimates for guidance only and is not tax advice. The results are based on the published South African 2026/27 tax tables (verified against SARS on 11 June 2026) and on the details you enter, and they may not reflect every circumstance that affects your actual tax.

Always confirm figures with SARS or a registered tax practitioner before making financial decisions. We accept no liability for any action taken on the basis of results from this site.

The calculator runs entirely in your web browser. The salary, age, medical-aid and retirement details you enter are not sent to us, not stored, and not shared. There are no accounts and no login.

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard technical request logs — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — for security, abuse prevention and reliable operation. We do not use this information to personally identify you.

The calculator itself does not set tracking cookies. If we later introduce advertising (for example Google AdSense) or analytics, those third parties may use cookies to show relevant ads or to measure usage. You can control ad personalisation through Google’s Ads Settings and manage or clear cookies in your browser settings. We will update this page before any such features go live.

Pages may link to external sites such as SARS. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites.
